BUSINESS + ATHLETICS = BUCKLES FAMILY SUCCESS
“You don’t build a business when you’re slow to react,” says Tony Buckles ’82. Buckles gives a lot of credit to his experience and love of athletics. Buckles began his college career as an athlete on a basketball team and a student at Newbury College in South Carolina. "Basketball was important to me and taught me a variety of lessons, however, I knew after two years at a school with 5,000 students, that I had to really focus on academics.”
